I have less than 30 days left before our cruise! I am keeping busy getting everything together. I can’t wait. Here are a few more things I can’t forget!

- I decided after using these inflatable pool floats in our camper last season that these are perfect for our cruise beach days. They are lightweight, inflatable, compact and great for lounging in the water. Especially if you like to float, but keep your legs down so you don’t drift too far out or away from your starting location.
- My Favorite Packing Cubes. These make packing and staying organized so easy. I use them all the time. They were very helpful on one trip when the back door to the hotel shuttle flew open and my suitcase went flying out and broke open all over the road on the way to the airport. With the cubes we were able to gather everything quickly and get to the airport, find a place to buy a new suitcase and repack in time for our international flight. I know I wouldn’t have made it without the packing cubes. On the cruise they are helpful for keeping my things neat and organized on the shelves in the closet.
- I decided to get a beach blanket this year since we are taking the kids and sometimes the beach chairs get filled up quickly. I found this cue blanket that comes in a small, lightweight carrying bag. It is a good size and easy to throw in my new beach bag.
- Bugs love me. I hate them. I use bug bands all the time in the summer when I am outdoors. Especially when we are camping or in humid areas. I wear these around my ankle or wrist almost all summer long. I didn’t think about bugs for my first cruise, but regretted it after the first port day. I already have these packed this time. My kids like the patches better so I stocked up on those too. I also am taking No See-Um spray this time. Last summer we were eaten alive in the Florida Keys by them. Normal bug sprays did nothing to keep them away. Just in case we get bites on port days, I am also taking my Cortizone 10. With bug bites, I do a lot to prevent them.
- Neck fans are a new go to for me. I am in midlife and I tend to get hot even in very cold rooms. I got this great neck fan last summer. It was a lifesaver on our trip to south Florida and the Florida Keys. I used it all the time when we were doing touristy things. It is rechargeable and holds a charge for a long time (all day at Disney!) It works great when I have my favorite hat on too. The air goes up and the hat pushes it back so I get a double blast on my face to cool me off. I also have a few of these small portable fans for when I forget my other one. Plus they are super cute.
